Ermac:
His costume is designed to look beyond human. Originally I planned on making him a simple red ninja (as can be seen at this link: [link] ) But a friend of mine suggested that he should look unstoppable. He shouldn't be simply a ninja, if he was created from many warrior souls, by the forces of Shao Kahn, he should look like an elite terror, like a general of an army. An unstoppable powerhouse, but still a ninja. (I'm not a fan of the armored ninjas in present MK games, but I felt this was necessary and not over done, it's classic samurai style armor which I feel fits the genre)

I took away his human factor all together. His face is just a green glow, as if he has no body (no flesh or bone). The suit/armor I imagine is a magical uniform warn by many great warriors in the past, it is all stitched and bolted together and by the use of magic contains the souls which illuminate through multiple areas of the suit (hands, belt, chest, face).

Thus making Ermac a terrible force to reckon with. He is no ordinary ninja, but instead a terrible monstrosity created by Shao Kahn. Just think...Frankenstein but a lot worse
