Description
β’ "Julian Assange is perhaps the most noteworthy investigative journalist in the world today, and he has made a career out of dragging into the sunlight information that powerful people want to keep hidden."I wonβt throw all of the credit on Julian Assange of course, because I know there are a lot of people besides Julian that are working and providing material for Wikileaks.

fantastic work!
of course he's not the only one, but we have to think that he's the only one that is suffering all the consequences
to me, he is a hero

I don't like that he becomes a flagship when he was a giant ass towards fellow administrators and the real heroes should be those that give him the information, but I suppose since all media attention is now on him in a bad way, too, you've got to give him some credit.
Still, from what I've heard, the WikiLeaks administration conflicts were almost as bad as those of deviantART. You know, deviantART, that one website that kicked their own founders because they didn't like the strong commercialization.

Of course he should not be getting all the glory, after all WL is so much more then only one person. But what do you mean about him being an ass towards fellow administrators/WL administration conflicts? Iβm not sure I know exactly what youβre talking about, please inform!
Wikileaks was in need of a spokesperson and I think Julian is a great one because he tries to keep his personal life outside although there are a lot of questions about the allegations towards him (like the CNN interview) and focuses on whatβs really important (although he kinda got himself into the mess). Now that heβs been arrested I hope that he will get a fair trial so that he can clear his name if the allegations are false, which I kind of believe they are, and WL can go on without any distractions.
