Was Scar King Bad enough for BOTH Kong AND Godzilla?

Don't get me wrong, I like Scar King and even got disappointed when his orangutan ass got shattered to pieces, because I would have loved to see him come back with another Toho roster kaiju to challenge the Dai kaiju duo again.

But honestly, Godzilla basically smoked BOTH of their sorry asses.

However, Scar King AND Shimu WERE a serious threat to Kong.

Infact, to a degree, it was like Kong asking his big brother to fight his battles.

Or more so, like going to Godzilla's girlfriend (Mothra) and having HER convince Godzilla to help.

They say Godzilla joined the fight to save the surface earth, but it is more likely that if he didn't help, Mothra would have been disappointed, and Godzilla surely knew what that meant -- no more Moth Booty for him!

So, like every guy who knows the awesome might of booty calls, Godzilla agreed.

What is weird is that Kong put up a BETTER fight on Godzilla than BOTH Shimu and Scar King!

Infact, for a moment, Kong straight up whipped his ass, which means he was a better fighter than in his first fight with Godzilla.

However, as they say in the boxing world, styles make fights.

So, Godzilla's unique powers allowed him to melt out of Shimu's ice blasts and his atomic breath, as well as his pure brute strength alone, had him bounce the Scar King around like a squirl monkey ping pong ball.

The movie was great, more so, it showed Kong becoming a much better and smarter fighter.

Even though he was no longer the apex predator, as he was on Skull Island, he could now use his cunning, combined with his strength and ferocity to prove he is a worthy king of the Hollow Earth.

From his battle with the herd of Wart dogs (Andrewsarcus relatives) to his triumph over the Lake Serpent, he proved that

-- and even by knocking out a sh*t talking giant ape with one punch he proved he could fight.

It is odd then that he even needed help, because he eventually got the better of Scar King by himself, too, even knocking his tooth out - probably revenge for him making fun out Kong's artificial tooth.

Whatever the case, it seemed like Kong's only really had a problem with Shimu's ice breath.

That alone is what made him seek Godzilla's help.
