This is two variations of an image of a Labyrinth. I wasn't sure which version I liked better, the twisted or un-twisted version. I also wasn't sure which way should be up for this picture. I decided to have the girl in the Labyrinth up-side-down to add to the confusion of the maze. Let me know which version you like better.

The most famous Labyrinth was written about in ancient Greek mythology and it was a complicated structure designed as a maze to house the ferocious Minotaur, a mythical half-man half bull creature. Labyrinths can be found in numerous ancient cultures, often as a spiraling maze in which one walked as a form of meditation. The Labyrinth has often been linked to being a symbol for the human mind. This image was inspired a bit by the movie "Labyrinth" and the maze by M.C. Esher as well as by Native American designs of Labyrinth petroglyphs found in the American Southwest.

The Labyrinth is one of those unique symbols that can be found in virtually every culture world-wide and dates far back into antiquity.
