fan art for Alice Liddell and Dorothy Gale. While I adore the "Disney blue" dress most people put Alice in, I had wanted to use her original yellow dress to match the yellow brick road, and vise versa for Dorothy. Hope I pulled off the overall look well enough, I am not really good at surreal drawings.I am not really a fan of including Wendy Darling in the "girl goes to fantasy land" genre, because most everything she encounters besides the mermaids and fairies is practical :/

This is really nice! The contrast between the blue and the yellow looks fantastic. I did not know Alice originally wore yellow.

thanks ^^ and yeah, if you look at early colored illustrations in certain documentary books, the dress is shown to be yellow. in fact, an Alice film from 1999 has her in the original yellow
