Description
Found this hole in the ice, so we decided we'd stick a stick in it.I wanted to call it "Casting Shadows in a Lonely World" because I'm feeling poetic, but it wouldn't fit...
Put a sepia photo filter on it.

Definately- though I do kinda like the trees.
Actually, reminds me of a book I read lately, "The Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane".
Okay that sounds obscure- Basically it's Vampire Hunter D book 6. There's this desert that gains a consciousness- and theres this moving forest within the desert- like an oasis- that moves...0.o
It's a cool book...it just sounds wierd when I explain it...honest!

That sounds really interesting, actually. Is it part of the Vampire D series? I've seen the movie, but never read the books. Are they pretty good?

Especially with the crackles in the ice- like sun-baked mud.
A strange combination I must say.
But I have heard it said that the most inhospitable deserts on this planet are infact the ones on the poles.
It's strange to think of deserts without sand...

I bet if I cut those trees out, the effect would be enhanced even more.

Yeah, the arctic isn't the first thing I think of when someone says desert...

I like how theres a reflection and a shadow.
The sepia tone makes it look like desert almost.

I actually hadn't seen that, but you're very right. It does kind of look like a desert.
