For me to explain all of my thoughts behind this picture would probably result in an essay far too big for the artist's comments.

For just the picture itself though I obviously had to make some changes in order for things to work well on human skin and to be somewhat closer to a more Polynesian look. Also I changed the clothes to incorporate more patterns. Really nothing more for me to add that wouldn't require an elaborate explanation.
