He smiled, dozing off again with a smile, thinking 'I love you...'

In my sleep for some strange reason I mumble "You better..." and smile cheekily, must've been having a fun dream.

He blushed a bit, then sighed softly, starting to doze off. "...I do..."

It was a few hours after all this had occurred that I'd woken up, disturbed. It felt as if Chett's fever had gotten worse and afraid of waking him up or him whimpering if I placed him down I got up and headed to the kitchen with my hand still covering the majority of his body.

Chett whimpered, having curled up on himself, tears forming in his eyes as he wiggled, feeling uncomfortably hot

I was afraid to give him any medicine at this size and so I settled for bitter herbs, hoping that might help along with a wet towel but the towels I had were too big...Having gotten an idea, I fill a cup with water and grab some of the herb while heading back to the room and placing Chett on the pillow while pulling out the first aid kit I kept under the bed. "I know I had some medical wrap in here somewhere..." Searching, it wasn't long before I found it and had about four little strips cut and on the side table, getting back into bed and placing cradling Chett in my arm as you might a baby. "Okay Chett I need you to wake up and take some medicine and waterΒ really quickly alright?"

Chett stirred, opening his eyes slowly. "Mmph...h-huh...? Why...?" He asked, his vision fuzzy and unfocused

"Chett I'll answer question later but for right now just drink some water and then take this" He was so small the only thing I had for him to drink from in such short notice was a dropper. Nevertheless, I place a small piece of herb onto his stomach and the dropper at his lip, slowly squeezing out a small droplet at his lips. I'd already began taking the medical tape strip and dipping it in the water to carefully place on his forehead, help cool him off.

Chett sighed but drank nevertheless, unsure why he had to do this now

Placing the makeshift cloth on his head I lay against the headboard "Chett after you take the herb you can go back to sleep but you're burning up and I'd rather not have it get to the point where you're in need of hospitalization. Who knows what Doctors might try with you at this size"

He nodded a bit, reaching shakily for the herb, whimpering

"Ssshhhh, remember I'mΒ right here, I'm not going anywhere. Everything will be okay" With my free hand I try my best to be comforting and stroke his arm gently.

He smiled weakly, munching on the herb. "Thank you..."

"No problem...anything to help" This was probably going to have me up all night but if in the end he was fine...I could live with that.

He smiled a bit, then yawned. "Can I sleep now...?"

"Yeah...go ahead" I pull him a little closer to myself and stare at the ceiling. I hope he was going to be okay through the night. Before he officially went to sleep I made sure to put him back on my chest, something told me he liked it there.Β

He smiled, leaning on your chest and mumbling "Thanks..."

"No problem" With that said I decide to go into a light sleep so that I'd be easier to wake up and more alert if anything happened.

Chett smiled, drifting into a deep sleep, glad that of all the people in the world he'd chosen you to be with

While asleep I couldn't help but think how much better my life already had become withΒ Chett in it.

Chett stirred, starting to wake up in the morning, his temperature having gone down a bit as he sneezed

I was awakened when he sneezed and silently yawned, still tired from basically being half asleep "You feel any better? I can see you're still sneezing but other than that?"

Chett smiled. "I feel great, thanks...still a little sick, but I should be okay..."

"If you're still sick then you're not okay...meaning that for the day you're bed-ridden" It was for the best.

He sighed. "Fine..."

Meanwhile I get up and transfer him to the bed by himself, laying where my body was just moments ago."Man, I'm exhausted..."

"No, I'm not sick and have things to do" My tongue sticks out in his direction as I go to the dresser I have under the bed and pull out a shirt for the day.

"Whatcha gotta do?" He asked, confused

"Wait...what day of the week is it?" Now I was confused

For a moment, Kendall didn't do anything. Then he gagged and spat the thing out onto the couch.

The thing turned out to be a tiny boy who whimpered and trembled, scrambling away from the giant in fear

Kendall's mouth, which had not been fully closed yet, dropped open. "Wha... what?" he stammered.

the boy curled up, trembling. "D-don't kill me..."

"I... I won't...." Kendall said. "Wha... why were you in my mouth..?"

He whimpered. "I-I was trying to find a warm place to sleep...and...live..."

"And you thought inside my mouth would be a good idea?" Kendall said, looking grossed out.

He blushed. "We...um..."

"Yes?" Kendall asked patiently.

He sighed. "...I was so tired...I...I just wanted a place to sleep...I didn't realize..."

"Apparently not..." Kendall said with a sigh.

"...you're not mad...are you?"

Kendall nodded. "So... what am I to do with you now..?"

"Let me rephrase that. What do youΒ think I should do with you? What would you likeΒ me to do with you?"
