He laughed, slithering out of the store. "Well, Amy that tickles~" He said, chuckling and sticking his tongue out playfully to make her feel more at ease. "I'm Alex~"

I blushed, but let him nuzzle me this time.
"Y-yeah, but I feel safer now. So, do I call you Master Alex then, or...?" I trailed off, unsure of whether or not he'd prefer me calling him master.

"Can we maybe, get something to eat? I haven't eaten since last night, the shopkeeper only gave me a bread crust." I said softly.

I blushed as he held me, uncertain of what to think, but I managed a smile at him.

I cried out hoping this wasn't really the end when suddenly I heard the sound of the door and quickly cried out "heelp!! please someone help me!!" next thing I know I am lifted by some kind of weird reptile like tail

Kellen makes his best attempt to struggle out of the tight grip of the dridder, really not having dying today on his list of priorities. “Sir, please! He’s going to feed me to the snake if someone doesn’t buy me!” He shouts, even if his shouting voice wasn’t all too much louder than his usual soft and quiet talking voice which was only just louder than a whisper.

The neko looked over, his ears flicking. "What?" He asked, coming closer to gently take Kellen from the dridder after shooting the demi-arachnid an icy glare that made his usual friendly and playful teal eyes seem disturbing with how they could change so fast and so much

"I've been here too long, he's going to feed me to the snake in the back if someone doesn't buy me right now," He explains, looking at the dridder with a look of fear he'd give whenever he was near him. He does his best not to react when he's taken, afraid of being held by anyone really.

When the neko took Kellen, the grip was soft and gentle, not wanting to risk hurting the little guy as he hissed at the dridder, his tail puffing up. The dridder gulped nervously, starting to back away. "I-i-it's yours if you want it...i-it's already been taken out of the log..."

Kellen is surprised at the soft grip, not at all used to a grip like it - but still, he remained tense as always. He tilts his head at the dridders nervousness, wondering what it was for.

The neko snorted, then left the pet store, holding him gently. "Doing alright, little one?"

"Y-yes, Master..." He pretty much whispers, concerned about giving the correct answer, not wanting to be punished.

"Bu-" He says, but quickly cuts himself off, knowing not to argue with his new owner's decision. "Sorry Alex, and it's nice to meet you."

"My name's Kellen..." He says quietly. He wouldn't be surprised if that name wasn't used at all.
