I smiled, leading him to my room, looking to the toys. "...he knows."

Henry nods. "A toy can feel when someone holding it knows true... We can feel a kids emotions when they hold us. But... Why were you scared?" Henry asked.
Greg was hiding behind your legs, and eventually said, "Scary.... They..." He didnt finish or explain why he thought the living ones were scary... and it seemed he wouldnt when near henry or james.

I smiled. "Greg...neither of them will hurt you...they're very nice...and my friends."

He shook his head. "The live ones.... Attacked..." He says, remembering something from playing in his dad's attic... a box of toys from his grreat grandparents had woken for him, and scared him... They hadnt attacked, but instead had all tried to hug, and he had of course been frightened as they shambled closer to him until he eventually ran down to his mom, screaming about grandpas bad toys...

I frowned a bit, confused as I looked to the toys on my bed. "...can toys even attack kids?"

James shook his head. "No... Unless teaching the kid a lesson about being nice to toys, any toy trying to do so would be ripped apart by any other toy within a mile radius with no mercy, and its parts scattered. And to physically harm a child? A toy's... how to call it... Soul? COnsiousness? Whatever, would vanish immidiately, forever... Except that one legend of that creepy puppet, but thats a curse."

I nodded slowly, then looked to Greg. "I don't think those toys were trying to attack you, Greg. Maybe they were excited?"

He didnt speak for a moment, then said, "But they chased me till i ran to mommy..."

I sighed. "My friends just said that no toy would hurt a child."

"But... then why did they chase me?" He asked. "I told them to stay back, but they didnt listen."

"Again, maybe they were excited...sometimes when people are excited, they don't listen."

James shrugged. "Maybe they werent originally woken by someone who spoke english..."

I nodded. "That's another possibility. Maybe they didn't understand you, Greg. Do you know whose toys they had been?"

"Great grandpa's.... He was from... where did momy say? She called it.... Um... Old world? " HE said, trying to remember...

James nodded. "Spain, europe... Also known a while back when people were colonizing as the Old World. This, america, was the new world... some people over there and those recently moved some of them still call it by that name..."

I nodded. "Alright, if the old world was Spanish, that was the language they spike. Your grandfather's toys didn't know English. That's why they didn't stop, Greg. They didn't understand you."

Greg slowly nodded. "Maybe... your right..." He said aafter a moment, and slowly, SLOWLY came out from hiding behind you.

I smiled. "Don't worry, these toys won't scare you...I promise."

He nodded. (once i get it up in my stashe, i want to show ya something. I was looking at some comments on a vore comic by livinlovindude, and i saw a comment stack that made me want to post a reply so very bad...)
After a moment, he waved at the two toys.

I smiled, picking up Henry and offering him to Greg. "Henry's really nice, Greg...wanna take him back downstairs and play with the other toys?"

Greg looked at him for a moment before taking him. "o-o-o-ok...." He starts stuttering again...

He nodded, then laughed when greg licked his hand. "He licked me!" He said, surprised.

"I want to be with ethan, but... I like you greg. " Henry said. "MAybe we could play prisoner hunt some time with james." He said with a smile... and greg smiled before frowning. "Whats prisoner hunt?" he asked.

James smiled. "Remember when we used to pretennd henry was a prison guard dog, and i was escaping? you had him hunt me down all over the house sometimes..."

The chest had a large variety of toys ranging from more stuffed animals to action figures, anything from alligators to zebras

He smiled and eventually pulled out a cat and a polar bear.
