Hey guys!
Pages 133, 134 & 135 so far in the series... I'm pretty darn proud of my latest pages! I'm currently working 5 pages ahead of this! I'm in the process of bringing Ashworth the Wombat to life!
It's been a dream in the making. = )Anyway enjoy the chills and thrills with Ruby as she discovers a stranger who may completely guide her to destiny in Gloreya! *thumbs up*

^^ Very awesome manga-esq work you come up with ^^. I really like your use of tones and hatching to give depth. ANd the expressions are prety funny too ^^. And you say you are able to do it in PHotoshop? I bought a whole program for manga making, and feel I may have waisted money

Is it by any chance called - Manga Studios? Because if it is I have partly used it in the process of making a page... Well to be honest I only used whatever screen tones and speedlines they have to be imported into Adobe! XXD
100% of the time I'm doing my work on Adobe Photoshop, it just shows that even this program can produce pages like these!
Graphic wise 50% is the scanned image and 50% is the inks, screen tones and photos I use to bring life to the page.
I'd like to wish you all the best in making those pages of yours! Your comic will only get better with practice and I've got plenty of that to do myself!

I love your way with tones and stuff man!
I especially like the tones you used for Ruby's legs on Page 132 in the fourth panel!
Also love how you made Ashworth's expression in the ice! Great work!

Wow! Thanks for the specifics on the toning of certain things in the comic. I'm very happy to have been able to achieve a more believable feel to the world you are visiting in with Ruby... The shadows, the textures of the ice, everything!

Yeah man it's been an interesting journey to change to B&W industry stand inked and screen-toned manga pages... It's been a wonderful learning experience and I'm going to improve the most I work on it!

I'm glad you like Ruby Emily, she is after all one of the main protagonists of the story (much like how you said that she is the leader in the story! ^^)
I'm going to make Ruby the type of lovable character that people back home can related to back IRL. = ) The same goes with Ashworth! The contrast of the two is that Ruby is still insecure about a few things and Ashworth is there to guide her way to climbing those stairs of life's challenges with confidence!

It doesn't look like Ashworth was happy about being frozen
Love his expression though, you can clearly see that he is really angry/suprised.

Funny, after all the changes you kept the part that Ruby met him frozen solid!
Now the mystery is who made that to him.....nah, only time will says.
But well, a good introduction

Anyway yeah it's really exciting and a lot of fun drawing these two (finally!)
I'm looking forward to this chapter which comes right after 7... It's called -
CHAPTER 08: How Strong Is Your Fist?
It's one of those emotional but kick ass chapters... Ruby get's abused by COFT authorities on her World Quest application but Ash shows sentiment and proves to those abusers why they're wrong about Ruby!

I see that 8th chapter and forwards will get deeper their friendship, maybe is more than fate.
By in the way, which chapter (and volume to say so) that Ruby will be introduced to the guild? (and consequently, FeiΒ΄s first debut)

I think in the first chapter of Volume 03 (book after no. 02) will feature a host of all the characters much like the entrance to Fairy Tale but in my own way.
I can't wait to get him and Ash to fight each other out of random and Great Leader Sandra comes in and kick's their asses for causing trouble at home again! XXD

All will be explained... In book 25! *SHOT* XXD Nah it's one of those kind of situations where you leave the reader wonderin' how Ashworth got in there the first place!
When he meets up with Great Leader Sandra it will indicate how he did but it's not the whole truth cuz Ash won't be revealing full details on who got him stuck on ice in the first place... Could someone have deliberately put him there at that time to meet Ruby? O.O;; XD

Thanks a bunch for your encouraging feedback TWULF, I've got lots to learn and lots to improve on but I'm at the stage where I'm pretty proud to say that I can do some kick-ass manga styled pages.

I'm currently looking into Crimson Falcon - one of my admired concepts in the past and man I'm very shocked of the quality and style you've managed to develop all on your own! That's dedication to your art man. I'm glad to see how far you've come on your artwork...
When I have time I'm going to go through your updates in a little more detail but I beg the question for now - How is the Crimson Falcon series going and what are your plans now that you are at this stage where your art has reached a very personal level? (i.e. style defined, quality very attractive and appealing etc..)

Hey, you really are welcome. I've not been commenting on your stuff for like totally ages but I'm always looking at it and it's awesome to see your work, awesome that you're still going strong with storytelling.
Well the plan for the next little while is to get through the few projects I've got going.
I've got a Comic project called 'Felicity' which is just about to release its first issue which'll be about 46 full color pages. After that I'll continue to work on at Felicity, hopefully achieving a similar length'd issue per month.
As for Broken Falcon it's ready to go now, the story is pretty much finalized but I'm still not sure if I'm ready artwise to tackle it. I've got a few short stories set in that universe on the way though so hopefully I can manage to get them done. I guess depending on how they go, I'll know if I'm ready to take on the big'un. I'm sure you know what it's like when making the transition of styles, visually hasn't proven easy and I'm not 100% certain I've got a hold on it just yet.
