Description I would like to put to rest an argument that has been going on since the character of Rey has first been created, who are her parents?

Theories have been put forth by the bucket loads on this question and many of them revolve around the Rebels characters of Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger, which to me is the most likely option.

However this argument can all be resolved with simple maths.

If Ezra and Sabine ever cohabitate a certain Starship then it equals one Rey

Well that theory is sadly shot to pieces

And Rey was suppose to be Kilo Ren's twin sister, if I remember all those stories before Disney took over.  Because Han called Ren 'Ben' before he was killed.

Rey is white. Neither Sabine nor Ezra are. So… this is not gonna happen

Ezra is white or copper skin.

Honestly that would make a great plot twist

Right now, I think the lady in the Solo movie could be her grandmother but after TLJ I’m not sure.

They can still be her parents even if we don't see it; it'll just come from further out of left field.

(I must confess that it hadn't even occurred to me until I saw this post, but also that it now seems quite plausible.)
