Description The wight of those lyrics applied to the moment very much produces a sad image... C.T. wasn't the best Freelancer, but she tried for a greater good she saw... That's worth honoring .

Season 10, Episode 10... You didn't disappoint...

Season 12 made this unbearable. She died for what she thought were the good guys, but now we know what Charon is really like, and that makes it even more tragic

This episode made me feel really sorry for C.T and the Innie boss.

But what hit me was the dead C.T's face when he looks at her through the helmet... Brrrr

They'll probably hold on that until the CD comes out.

I felt bad for the insurrectionest, not CT, in the scene where she died...the music and emotion makes you feel sorry for the guy who only goes on to die at the hands of an alien artifact containing a human AI fragment inside of it, without ever realizing the goal he and CT had.

CT does not get my sorrow despite the sadness of her death because she was willing to sell out all of her supposed teammates without attempting to show them that their side was truly the "bad guys". She speaks cryptically to Wash, but does she ever show him any facts to back her claims up? She had been feeding such info to the Insurrection for months apparently, so she could have. And what about those who already doubt their side, North and York? Instead of trying to recruit them she whined and betrayed them alongside all of the others.

So, long story short, for the insurrectionist.

*SPOILER ALERT FOR EPISODE 17!*

I'm pretty sure that Epsilon has become Alpha Church again. He fizzled out, then reappeared as the full white Church. So, that blew my mind more so than Tex being Beta. That I've known since before the Season started.

What could she have said? I'm sure the moment she said anything, the Director would've been on her and would've thrown her into some kind of jail; then convince everyone that she was the villain here. It wasn't like she knew anyone else was doubting the system, North and York spoke in confidence with one another. CT couldn't just tell anyone, or, like i said, the Director or someone else would've found out and cut her down while she was still on base.

Pretty sure anyone in that enclosed environment would have picked up on the feelings of others, at least those who can feel empathy among them.

What could she have said? She went MONTHS without being caught by the Director while transmitting communications using his own SHIP. She could have said something to someone in private.

Freelancers aren't known in mass for their kindness and consideration. We can gather that South, if told, would've snitched to get ahead of her brother. As the song said "can't trust anybody"; particularly a Freelancer. The Director was aware of transmissions coming out from the base, so going a step further and talking to (a more then likely) untrustworthy freelancer, the Director would've picked up much faster on who was doing it.

Never mentioned South, now did I? I said North and York, as well as Washington. You know, actually trustworthy and decent people?

The Director is not omnipotent. Talking to someone in private is not as hard as you are making it sound, especially when CT is already so good at having live video chats with the enemy on their main ship.

Overlordflinx In reply to Thundercracker417 [2012-08-23 04:49:09 +0000 UTC]

I was saying South as an example. And at that point Wash wasn't trustworthy, he was attached to the Director much more and would've told someone out of worry for CT, which would go up to the Director. And to what point are North and York trustworthy? For someone who is surrounded by people that WILL kill her in a second if she showed who she was, you need to have a level of caution.

Yes, she was having video chats, and how well did that work out? Wash found out, which started putting strains on CT.

My point is that no matter what, CT didn't do the right things and signed herself into a line that was going to get her killed one way or the other. But in the end, it was her actions that spiraled many things into the ways they are now.

Watch episode 11 and say North and York are not trustworthy and nice people. And bringing up South is irrelevent, as I mentioned CT should have brought the info to Freelancers with empathy who would listen to her, like North and York. And Wash might have been loyal to the director, but it was because he didn't know better. This talking to him would solve that.

The video chats actually were going pretty well for her given their immense risk and how it took months for her to be caught by someone, someone who didn't turn her in none-the-less. Shows Wash might put CT before the Director.

In her position CT actually did the right thing by trying to leave, but it was entirely for the selfish reason of living rather than out of moral code.

Your looking at it from the omnipotent view of a watcher of RVB...
Im not saying your argument is invalid, because it's not. But try to put yourself in the shoes of someone who is in the mother ship of her enemy, who already has suspicions that you are a traitor (lets face it, the director knew, why else was he keeping her down?)
You don't want to blow your cover, you want to save your friends, but risking blowing your cover wouldn't help anyone. Even if you CAN trust another agent, like North or Wash or York, think about it, you'd be going to your enemies TOP AGENTS and telling them your a traitor....

Dear God...

That was the saddest moment so far... And seeing those Freelancers up there watching the ship leaving and knowing they're killed like they are and Connie was trying to stop that...

Oh God... It kills me every time.

The song REALLY didn't help. It was also the darkest moment of Red vs Blue so far and amazing. The lyrics were just beautiful.

In Revelation episode 13, Epsilon tells F.I.L.S.S to end recovery mode for ALL those in recovery mode like Sarge and Grif, and, in the end of the SPONSER cut, it turns out Donut was in Recovery mode when he was shot, and he just... gets back up.
