Composition is overall too dark. If you ever treat this one as a draft and you make a newer version, I hope you will make a lot of the colors brighter. Also, Twilight looks semi-transparent, which is very weird.

It's a sad truth, but it is real. He is really pushed aside from a lot of the fans. Some say he's useless.

Bah, what do they know? Spike isn't useless. He IS Twilight's assistant, as in to assist. The title alone says he does SOMEthing. (Bad attempt at humor. Oops.) But seriously, even as a character he is important. He tends to keep Twilight grounded, and helps her get out of her head some. He also can be a bit snarky and sarcastic, which adds for some humor when it goes over her head. And he also has the more little boy mindset, which balances well against the adult female ponies.

I think he's also a very underrated character who doesn't deserve all this hatred. I mean he was the TRUE hero in Lesson Zero. Not Princess Celestia, not Twilight, not her friends, but Spike. Spike knows when he needs to be there for his friends.

ROFL, your Luna narrative is hilarious. You have such an amazing talent with backgrounds -- they're just so vivid and the way your colour/shade them makes it look like something out of a picture book! And of course the two mane ladies of the image are looking quite fine as well

LOL. Thank you! That's quite a compliment! I actually was going to nix this background and just draw them in Twilight's library...But I really wanted that fireplace. So even though it was more challenging when I was going from my own imagination (as in deciding what colors to use, I'm happy I stuck with this.
