Description
Alias: March HareReal Name: Cassandra Snark
Nicknames: March, Em, and Cassy
Birthday: March 30th
Astrological sign: Aries
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Height: Twice Darkwing’s height; five heads high
Species: lagomorph
Voice actor: None as of yet. But she has a husky feminine voice, with a Scottish accent. Think of Scrooge McDuck
Occupation:
-Criminal
-ex-librarian
Relationships:
Darkwing Duck – Enemy. While she isn’t evil, more like chaotic neutral, she still causes lots of trouble for him. As both a parent and a crime fighter. Darkwing has a strong unease and hate towards her, because of her obsession with his daughter.
Gosalyn Mallard – Little Alice. In fact, she met Gosayln on her first crime spree. She finds her spirited nature to be appealing, and thinks she’s such a cutie. She has an overly creepy desire to play dress-up with her. Gosalyn is used to being kidnapped, so doesn’t think much of this besides “Yuck! I don’t wanna wear no stupid dress!”. But like I said, it makes the adults uncomfortable instead.
Wyatt T Snark – Cassandra’s younger cousin. While March is overly fond of her and remembers the good ol’ days, Wyatt LOATHES her. In fact, to the point she has declared she has no cousin. She tends to blame March for a lot of things, even if she didn’t do them.
Scare Crow – Girlfriend. Met in Saint Canard’s Duckham Asylum. It was during therapy sessions that their fondness for each other grew. March’s overly happy outlook on life compliments Scare’s overly pessimistic one. March is usually able to get her out of any bad funks she might have. Scare is also the leader in their two women duo. They are commonly known as the “Holiday Mischief Makers” by the media. Probably because March’s costume reminds them of Easter, while Scare’s reminds them of Halloween.
Mary Puffins- Tends to be their main enemy. To the point Mary Puffins has even followed them out of town. This crime fighting magical nanny sees them both as naughty children, and has made it her personal mission to reform them. March has a love hate relationship with her. On one hand, she sees her as the person who comes to put them into timeout and ruin their fun. On the other hand, she finds herself having a crush on the hero. This crush makes it so that Scare hates Puffins completely.
Superpowers:
-Telekinesis- She can lift objects with her mind. It’s a purplish aura that surrounds people and objects.
Special Abilities:
-very high intellect
- Strong kicks
Weaknesses:
- Mortal. She can just as easily die as anyone else can.
- Little to no upper body strength. Also gives sissy slaps and flinches easily when things come at her fast.
- Insanity. Impairs judgment and can hallucinate.
- She has the potential for using high telekinesis. However, she rarely uses it. She prefers using it for impractical things like tea parties and goofing around. Her powers only let her lift up lighter objects and people. If she actually trained herself, she’d be able to do more.
- Pedo tendencies. I have to put this on the list for the fact she has gotten into huge trouble for this in the past. She gets easily distracted by cute children, and has even kidnapped Gosalyn multiple times so she can play Alice in her tea parties. And her girlfriend even looks childish. Whether she is really a pedophile is not known.
- very loud noises. It’ll cause her to cover her ears instantly and focus on blocking it out. The perfect opportunity to strike against her. If throwing objects or carrying people, she’ll instantly drop them.
Pet Peeve:
-Missing tea time, having tea parties interrupted
- Sensitivity to noise. Loud “hippidy hop” music gets to her.
Personality:
Happy-go-lucky. It’s really hard to make this gal depressed. Her overly cheerful mood tends to spread to some, annoys others, and seems to creep most out. Sometimes you’ll just see her smiling into space. She also has the knack when she does get into a depressing funk, of convincing herself out of it. Even if it’s something she should be upset about. This causes her to lock up emotions, which eventual explode from her from time to time. In fact, it’s what helped caused her mental breakdown in the first place. When she DOES get angry, it’s very violent. Objects break around her from her telekinesis. She flips tables and screams. Buuuut, after having her little tantrum, she goes back to normal. It’s such a big whiplash of emotion that it’s known to frighten almost anyone.
She’s also overly friendly, and has a hard time understanding personal space. To her, there is no such thing! It’s normal to be close to everybody. And she’s very touchy feely. If she likes something about you, she’ll usually touch it. Like petting people’s hair to pinching cheeks.
She’s also well versed in different subjects and literature. She’ll break out into quotes a lot. However, sometimes the quotes seem to only make sense to her how they fit in, and can confuse others. She’s intelligent, but her insane nature can make people forget.
Biography:
Cassandra was born in Glasgow, Scotland. At age five, she and her parents moved to Calisota to find new work. It was a little after moving there, that March lost her mother. For the next 22 years she lived with her father. They were unhealthily close. Nothing happened of the lewd and perverse between them…But Cassandra had a bit of an Oedipus complex with her father. To the point she made it so no man would ever be more important than him. Her love of literature grew through him, and was another way they connected. He introduced her to the Lewis Carroll stories.
Later on her father got sick with cancer. And her life revolved around him. Taking care of him, working to pay the bills so he’d have food and a roof over his head, and so on. She denied herself a life outside of him. So when her father died, that was enough to break her. But, on top of that, she lost not only her father…but her job and her apartment all in the same week.
It was enough to break her. And she lost her mind, convincing herself that she was the March Hare from her favorite story. (Her father always affectionately called her his little March Hare, to where Ichabod was her Mad Hatter.) It was from there where she got her new identity.
Her first crimes involved kidnapping children to play as characters from Alice in Wonderland. She was making a large never ending tea party. It would forever be tea time for her and the children. March actually found these kids through her old job as an ex-librarian- most of the kids having late fees and overdue books.
Cue how she found Gosalyn Mallard. This spirited girl ended up becoming her Alice. Sure, she told herself, she wasn’t a blond…but the important thing was that she ACTED like an Alice. Full of life and curiosity! Able to verbally entice the lagomorph. Ooooh, it was just absolutely delicious!
Eventually, she was thwarted by both Gosayln and Darkwing. And she was then sent to a mental institution. Later crimes revolved around what her girlfriend scare Crow chose of them. (Robberies most of the time.) As well as just causing mayhem just for fun. There really isn’t much logic behind her plans. She has an impulse, and just charges onward with it.
She’s still known to kidnap Gosalyn from time to time. This has also made Scare Crow jealous, because she feels like she should be the only “alice” she cares about…Not that she WANTS to be an Alice. Or so she says.
Other Notes:
Her powers were unleashed because of her breakdown. While she found objects moving some on their own from time to time, it was never strong or noticeable enough. Trauma was what gave it its kick.

Damn, but she's probably the most unique, intriguing, and complex OC I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! There's just so much to her, yet her happy-go-lucky nature, combined with her creepy level of childishness and curious quirks definitely remind me of QJ. She's just fascinating, and very easy to love and pity!

Thank you! Most of the BG stuff is more as a reminder to me where her mindset is. she's not the type to spill a "how i became a villain" story. It's too depressing! and she's about blocking her depressing thoughts. It's both a very good and very bad coping mechanism. On one had, by blocking all negativity, it's how she's able to get up and actually function. but on the other hand, it causes her to dissociate from reality too much. it's what keeps her in her Wonderland. It also causes her to build up her emotions and explode from time to time.
Yeah, she and quacky have a bit in common. but unlike QJ who acts out even if he knows his actions can hurt others, March just doesn't realize it. If someone were to tell her "Hey! don't do that, it's wrong!", she'd stop right away and feel guilty. But she's also easily lead to believe that what she's doing isn't wrong. Like I said, people like QJ, Negaduck, her girlfriend...any villain, really, could trick her into doing it.

I wish I had a better attention span and could read all of this in one sitting, but regardless! I *really* like this character, I was drawn to her as soon as I found out she existed. She's a very good one, and I love your pictures of her too; she's so full of life.

Thank you! March was the first OC I made for this fandom. It's funny when I strip her down, her key personality trait is similar to myself. (I say this is funny, because the character Snark I made was originally my self insert that grew into her own character to the point she's nothing like me now. XD) She should be angry at the world. She should get revenge and be a jerk because the world was unkind to her. She has every right. But, at the end of the day...she isn't and she doesn't. This is a magical thing about personality types. Two people could have been raised the same and went through all the same stuff...but one person could turn into a pessimist while the other into an optimist. I find it fascinating.
I'm glad you like her! it's nice to know people seem interested in my brainchild.

Y'know, while she may be a very stable individual, she's a very likable and balanced character. With more faults than strengths XD I just love her, and we both know I'm not the only one. Her back story is both captivating and sympathetically deep. It makes one happy to know she's found happiness, even if she did have to create her own reality to find it.
