Yes. Yes to both. Her eyes are just so freaken hard. And it takes a few tries to make the smiles look soft enough so it actually looks like her. Most of the time my instinct is to draw big Pinkie Pie grins.

Somepony has to stay awake to make sure Discord doesn't run off and burn down half of Ponyville. Staying away is the only way to make sure he's really napping. Oooor I merely imagined they both fell asleep, and Fluttershy woke up to seeing how cute he looked. Either one is probably right.

I like to think the others will come around to liking Discord eventually. He's very charismatic. I'm sure when he isn't causing trouble, they would actually begin to enjoy his company. Though, in all honesty, I think Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie would be the only ones to think of him as a friend.
