Just imagine, spring cleaning day. while most of greenhouse is made of dirt, he still has areas like his lab area, a small kitchenette, and bathroom to take care of. (The latter being from when he first made the greenhouse when he had more normal functioning needs.) STILL, he has to keep those places orderly. While not often, he still has the likes of the other Fearsome Five members dropping by his home from time to time-- and, as his mother always told him, there is nothing more embarrassing than a filthy toilet when a guest needs to do their business.

(Besides, it gives him something to do during his long lonely days.)

Now, the heels, as silly as they look, are actually very important to his cleaning. Bushroot has discovered that his root-like feet tend to have the habit of absorbing any and all liquids when they get in contact. And so, as you can imagine, it's very dangerous for his feet to touch bleach soaked tiles as he's mopping floors. So he knew he'd need shoes... but getting one's feet into cramped loafers these days are impossible-- and so he needs the open toed areas. Bushroot first considered sandals, but realized that wasn't enough as the back of his heel could still get in contact with the ground.

It was while on a crime spree to pick up more fertilizer that he can by a shoe store's window display and was struck by inspiration. Of course he'd feel silly, the mere thought of him in heels was utterly ridiculous! But... it would help him out... And what was the harm if he would be alone in his greenhouse anyway? Nobody but his plants were there, and they would NEVER ridicule him for his strange functional fashion.

And thus a cleaning routine was born.

Or I just made all that up, and Bushroot just likes feeling pretty. Your choice.

XDDDD I could totally picture the former. 

Though now I want to see Harmonizer's reaction to seeing him like this. XD Either stare at him blankly and walk off, apologising for disturbing him... or she points and laughs, and then offers to help him finish the rest.
