The Abrams Grizzly was designed as a battlefield obstacle clearing unit and engineering vehicle, clearing minefields, barbed wire, rubble, and tank ditches to create clear paths for other vehicles using an array of engineering weapons such as dozer plow, a ditch digger, and remotely detonated explosives. Although a heavily armored and technologically sophisticated vehicle, budget constraints led to cancellation of the program in 2001.M1 Abrams Grizzly Vehicle Stats:

Yeah, its called Trojan, based on the Challenger 2. I think it can be used for this, and more, since it is Britain.
And we can't afford loads of vehicles.

Interesting. I thought the army was getting along fine with the M9 ACE (Armored Combat Earthmover), even though it only has one crew member, limited armor, and 1 x .50cal MG for defence.
As good as this Grizzly looks, probably best if it stayed away, looks like just another gas-guzzler for army logistics to keep up with.

I remember when it was unveiled and reported on by the Army Times. I thought it was he strangest looking machine, but it was said it would do a hell of a job. Last I had heard it was still lined up to be brought into service, but the company that builds the M88A2 Hercules lobbied to keep their contract.
