Description
This strange looking little vehicle is fast medium tank designed for speedy assaults during the First World War. As such, the Whippet was the fastest tank in the war - a neck-breaking top speed of 8mph. Still, this was a marked improvement over the slow-moving behemoths that were the Tank Mk I-IV series, able to keep a far more reasonable pace with the advancing infantry, had slightly better armor, and a reduced crew that no longer had to share the comparment with the engine. Their speed proved fatal to the Germans during the Amiens offensive of August 1918, where Whippets broke into the rear and attacked German artillery positions.Whippet Mk A Vehicle Stats:

So this is this famous Aberdeen, where they had an A7V Nixe which took part in world's first tank vs. tank battle... and scrapped it in 1947!

The Ferrari of armored warfare during WW1, A sexy beast but comes only second to the FT-17 in the cool factor.

See the ports on the front and side? That's where the machineguns would be. However, all the vehicles on display (with a few exceptions) have had their machineguns removed.
