YOU KNOW WHAT'S FUN? Customising your DA page!
Some people offer really cool custom page commission, but maybe you don't have the mulah for their services and have to do it yourself. But if you don't know how to code or really read code it can be...less fun.< i dont>
^ IF THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR WELL THEN THE CUSTOM BOX COMPILER IS THE THING FOR YOU! All the code's been dumped in the background so you get a pretty simple interface to work with instead
When used in conjunction with the free custom box resources available on DA, you can make some pretty nifty layouts quite easily!Custom boxes are a Premium Member feature only
Much like the Journal CSS Creator v1.5 , this thing is basically a plug and play - plug in your info, hit that "GET CODE" button and you get insta-code to copy/paste into your custom box wham bam thank you mam. There's a special section called "Source code" which helps to utilise some of the free codes found by other people for greater customisability options, so i recommend you read the tutorial cos it's explained in there.
You can also save up to 3 of your custom box layouts! Though if i ever update this file you might lose them cos i can't guarantee DA will use the same server to do it lol.

You can still use this (to a degree) to pretty up the description area of your Featured Dev. You are however limited to only Layouts 1 and 2 and you can't use the source code functions etc.

One of the first things I noticed (Specifically for layout 3) Is that everything is a bit too spaced out, Like maybe we can move the content image up to make things a bit more compact, and the picture is usually in the second content box. Also I noticed for the image half of it is cut off most of the time, I had to do some major editing to get that to work. I don't really know how to fix this part but it was really annoying having to edit the code lol

Ok first things i'm assuming you are talking about the spacing from the top of the content to the top of the box? That was written in deliberately by me cos i like the look of it haha (and also for slightly easier readability). But if you prefer a smaller space you can do this
I checked Layout 3 for the errors you said you were encountering and i cannot replicate them? The image in the image content box for example shouldn't ever be half cut off because it has a dynamic width set to it which means however wide the image box is is how wide the image will be forced to be. If you show me a screenshot of the fields you filled in and what the initial result of that was then maybe i can see how it got to that point for you?

It should be okay, I only broke it twice (once from not reading the instructions because sometimes people won't read instructions, and the other time I can't actually remember what I did, just that I automatically went and fixed it, I really shouldn't test when tired as I forget I'm testing XD)

Quick question, the box has a half inch gap at the top of the box to where the content starts. Is there any way to shorten that or get rid of it entirely?

Near the beginning of the code, there is a part that says < div class="gr-box gr-genericbox">< br> (just before the code goes to a new line)
If you remove the < br> the gap will become smaller.
You can make the gap even smaller still by making the code that comes after the < br> immediately follow < div class="gr-box gr-genericbox"> instead of being on a new line

If you need the box to be taller you can set a height for it if you checked the "wide content" checkbox
