After seeing Thunderbolt and Buster always without shirts when visiting them at EJ's home many times, Patch decided to stay shirtless most of the time, and he started to believe that shirts are pointless, as all shirts do is cover up a guy's upper body. The weather in the area he lives in is mostly warm enough for him to walk around shirtless anyway.
