Well, you know what they say: grass is always greener on the other side. We think where we live is boring because we've grown to take it for granted.

It actually happens often, people not knowing where Finland is. We Finns are so used to it that we usually reserve our scorn for people who think we have polar bears here.
And yes, it's actually literally cool here, now that it's spring. Not looking forward to the summer heat wave, though. The problem with having very distinct seasons; it's always either too cold or too hot. XD

Currently the climate is nice and cool, so it's great. But yeah, I stay indoors with fans and cool drinks in the summer.
Cold winters are pretty much the norm here. Sometimes the snow gets so high that even the snow plows can't get rid of it. Just going to the store is a struggle. XD

There has been a lot of backlash caused by the reboot, so you're not alone in feeling like that. But it might still get better so I'm not completely dismissing it yet.
