Trying to think of a clever reason as to why Picard would take the Enterprise-E through the giant gap between the D'deridex's wings.Thinking.....

They flew through to launch a quantum torpedo that has been modified with a magnetic shell which will covertly attach itself to the inside of the Romulan's hull and detonate when the Enterprise is clear.

And both ships are gone.... theres a reason the only known time this happened was with a Defiant..

Lol, not so. The reason I did this is because the Sovie is apparently thin enough to fit through. And that is with proper scaling and everything.

Ships getting that close, between shields and SIF's there is going to be massive damage to both ships.

Shields are gone, but the rest is certainly true. This was more of like a last ditch thing. Like I said, I couldn't think of a good enough reason for why he'd fly the thing into the Warbird. Thought it'd make a cool shot, so I did it.

The warbird will most likely be moving, the sovereign alone cannot fit due to size, speed and various fields that are on. So all it takes is the one wrong move and boom. Also Warbirds have atleast one disruptor beam covering the interior

Well, when all else fails... we have plot protection to fall back on. Although I was completely unaware about the disruptor on the inside. Though it makes sense now that you say it...

If you look at certain shots I think in DS9. There is a single disruptor array on the inside of the rear spine.

Looks like Enterprise took a bit of damage too. Just pray they can swerve out of the way in time to avoid a collision! Nice work.
