Robert Fitzwalter (unknown – 9 December 1235) was a member of the English Brotherhood of Assassins , responsible for starting a campaign to unite the English Barons against the despotic King John . He was formerly an aristocrat and a soldier fighting for King John during the Wars of Normandy .
The Assassins, led by Robert Fitzwalter , fought for the French-aligned Barons while the Templars used their influence to help the King. Additionally, operating idependently from the Templars, one Master Assassin , William of Cassingham , choose to fight for King John and most specifically for his son, Prince Henry.
