Some of the historical figures that my oc, Kahente, made enemies of during her time on Roanoke Island. John White was the governor of the Roanoke Colony who left the colony to get supplies for England in 1587. However, conflicts between England and Spain prevented him from returning, and when he finally returned in 1590, he found the colony completely abandoned, with only a carving of the word “Croatoan” left behind. Roger Prat and Roger Bailie were his two assistants that remained in Roanoke to run the colony while White was away.Related content
