I admit, the title made me groan in that way that I groan every time I hear a pun... My brother tells me that this is a good thing. He should know, he's usually the one causing that reaction. But anyway! I like this. I really like how you've done the pose and expression of the player, looking so intent and focused. Niiiice

Oh - and I just remembered something else I put in the post that mysteriously disappeared - I dreamed about playing this bass last night! Spooookeeeeee. Very clear and lucid dream. I broke a string. And yes, of COURSE you know which one, and no, I will not say which for it will only begin a pun war of epic proportions.

Time has passed now, so the details of the dream have begun to fade, but if memory serves, I broke the string by slamming something into the bass... a mic stand? Some other kind of heavy recording studio equipment? Can't recall for certain. And yes, even in the dream, I also realized, "WHOA! I BROKE a STRING???"

Ordinarily, I make every effort to not tell people how to feel, but I'm going to make an exception here. Please don't feel embarrassed about when you posted this. First of all, Bobby and I celebrate birthday weeks. You are early, not late. And secondly, a gift is a gift is a gift. Given on any day, its value is no less because of its timing. This amazing image would've been as welcomed on Arbor Day as my birthday or any other day of the year. Truth.
