Description
So I have this great photo of as a high school student, earnestly playing the double bass, and I'd been meaning to render it in colour pencils for the longest time. And what do I wind up doing instead?This.
I'll get around to the serious version someday, Nits. And I'm sorry for the pun. But that picture was just asking for it.[Oh, and just in case anybody's asking: Yes, Linda *was* the principal double bassist.

Nah--hubby plays guitar and bass--I caterwaul in the shower occasionally (...until he heaves a couple glasses of cold water on me to shut me up! lol!), but no--I don't play an instrument. I think that's one reason I have such admiration for folks that do, though: it seems so magical to me, and it's something I love--just listening to music. And that had to have been an interesting experience, to see the cellist disintegrating his bow on the instrument (...did it seem to be wearing a face like the one in this piece, btw...?

I played trumpet in the school marching band for two years, and then it ate up too much of my time. Somehow... there were only baout 30 people in the band! Small school- so we didn't even have an orchestra O.o
