Painting of my favourite scene in ROTS. Yes, the one in which Anakin Skywalker gets flambΓ©'d.
Referenced from a Star Wars CCG card.I've realised that my greatest weakness where painting is concerned is - I depend entirely too much on preliminary sketches. If I have to do everything from scratch digitally - *especially* if it means painting from blobs of colour - I'm pretty much bantha fodder. So from now on, whenever I can, I'm going to force myself to do exactly that. (Uh, practice, I mean, *not* become bantha fodder). Even if it means subjecting my hapless watchers to crappy paintings.

Anakin Skywalker is my LEAST FAVORITE character in the star wars franchise EVER!!!!!!!! He's just whiny! He has 3 moods: angry, resentful/I wanna be older already, and FAKE!in love. And that look on his face when he's angry, nostrils flaring...it's yucky to look at. And he's not so handsome, anyway.
Look, I even like Jar Jar after reading Darths and Droids! (which everyone should read, btw)

I cried Almost trough the whole movie!!!!!! And when this part came....I was drowning in my tears! So powerful scene!!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL! Wonderfully captured!

Through this whole scene, i was feeling like i was going to cry(but i figured it wouldn't happen), but then Obi-Wan yells "You were my brother Anakin!" and BAM floodgates broke. Then of course ive recovered form that and Yoda is telling them to separate the children and go into hiding, and I cried when Obi-wan gave Luke to Huru. Very emotional movie! You captured this scene perfectly, Obi-Wan's emotions are portrayed perfectly!

Thanks very much! Oh man, yeah, this had to be *the* most emotional scene in any of George Lucas' movies (which is saying a lot, considering the prequels were lacking in emotion in many places). Ewan McGregor/Obi-Wan was singularly incredible, wasn't he?

I love Ewan!!! He was spectacular in ROTS! and yes, the prequels did lack a lot of emotion(*Cough*Hayden*Cough*) but hey Hayden did improve a lot in the ROTS I was proud of him! lol and yes it was THE best scene George has ever directed, really showed how he grew as a director since ANH.
