Description
See that? I started to do, like, a little arabesque, but then I just fully went for it and pulled off the demi-entrechat. Not that I'm into that kind of thing...So why isn't she nude, why is there this gratuitous clothing? Well BECAUSE I wanted to show off the nice outfit I made for her, based on the actual outfit she wears. The best part about her is I get to exercise my inner goth. Like building this couch and candelabra. Such a nice place. It's almost like we're about to watch an old campy horror movie

Thank you. Size of her face to her legs? Hmm, I don't know, it's the same model I always use, it could be camera angle or lighting, not sure.

Great work with this one. I was wondering if you had forgotten her.
So, you can paint hair.

Thank you. Nope, hadn't forgotten, was just trying to find a good scene. I was working on another one but just couldn't get happy with it, but this one flowed rather well she seems to fit perfectly in a goth setting. I can sort of paint hair I'm working on it but I'll take that as a compliment

We have spoken a few times before. I love most of your art. Is this another model you created yourself like Talon? If so, when I redo my PC i'd love to be allowed to experiment with her.
However, I think you use too much "softness" in many of your creations. Granted, that is probably a personal preference, but I'd like to see less of that to be honest because it makes it more realistic. This one seems airbrushed overtly. Her head seems off. The left breast seems just a bit off as well. I think you could have added something underneath the sofa to make it have more depth as well.
Don't get me wrong here, but you asked for an honest Critique. I feel too often people are afraid to say anything because they want to be "nice", but that is not how an artist grows.
You do great work none the less and I hope to someday attain a decent level of skill with models and 3DSMax myself.

Well the model is V3 from Daz3d, I just created some morphs for her face and body. The wings I did build but they're still a rough version, they are fully poseable but the skin that makes up the wings doesn't work properly, I have to keep manually adjusting them. So it is a work in progress I suppose. Ahhh you should have seen this image when I first posted it, it didn't have any of the softness, then about 2 hours later I was looking at it thinking 'I forgot something, it doesn't look right, what is it?' Then I realized I didn't do my usual layering and blurring so I fixed it and updated the image. Ahhh well, like you said, different preferences. I actually do alot of post work to undo the 3d look and make them look more like paintings, just what I prefer mainly. It's funny I was thinking the right breast looked off (her right). I know what you mean about under the couch, I did a few test renders trying to decide if I wanted something there or not (there actually is flooring and the curtains, they just don't show up because of the lighting), in the end the parts that did show up I just painted over.
But believe me, I like reading the honest critique. They help give me ideas for future images and I always keep them in mind with each new image I make.

Thanks K Yes the hair was painted. I so dread it still each time I have to do it, but I'm getting more comfortable with it. I just hated always looking for a hair prop that didn't quite match what I was looking for.
And the atmosphere, I felt so at home making this one

my searching my fool heart out to find a tutorial for painting hair. I'm trying to nudge into making one because i know they paint hair for all their images too. I'm just wondering how well i could blend it with rendered hair.
I could see myself sitting on the floor, nom popcorn with her and watching a movie...

I've looked for hair painting tut's. I've found a few that have helped, and tyrine666 did a live session of hair painting for me once that helped out alot. And Lolaa sent me some of her procedures also and I put all of those together and came up with my workflow that is constantly changing. In the end you'll probably end up not rendering any hair and just painting it since hair props have too many limits. That's why I started doing it, if you ever talk mavrosh into doing a tut let me know, I would definitely like to see that.

Exactly! Sometimes it can be even more erotic if done properly Of course I did a nude version too, just because....well I have to. But the clothes went so well with all my colors that I just had to post this one. Now if I could just find a real couch like this for my living room
Thank you dear.
