4E 206 12th of FS -Night watch again, the best part of night watch is I don't have to wear that damn chain mail hood under my helmet or the plate leggins. I like to image some bandit out there in the forest is using his spyglass to watch me when I let the wind blow my loincloth up and the torchlight hits me just right. Plus I love the feeling of the wind blowing between my legs or sitting on the edge of the castle exposing all of myself for anyone who might be watching. It has turned the dreaded boring night watch into a fun erotic fantasy. I think I like these better that normal day guard duty. Although if we ever get attacked and the rest of the guard is woken up for the battle the Captain is going to have my ass, and not in the fun Sanguine way either. Ugh, not that I would want him to do THAT to me anyway.

That's the one. I never did get that axe, I chose the path that gave me the mask instead.

Maces are cool, but it seems like nobody ever pays them any mind.
And Ebony is a wicked-awesome armor set.

I know what you mean, as a duel wielder I always carried a sword and mace, and my mace was always enchanted with soul steal. Plus the maces always look cooler I think but people usually like to concentrate on the swords. The axe is the Rueful Axe that you could get from Clavicus Vile. I haven't used Wuuthrad yet in an image but I will

Ah! I got the masque- I played a mage/assassin (were you aware that magic is horrendously underpowered in Skyrim unless you pour all of your resources into making it usable? I learned the hard way.)
Does Wuuthrad really do more damage to elves? I never got around to doing !!SCIENCE!! about that.

Yeah I wasn't big on using magic, I only did that when I needed to level up. My favorites were duel wielding one handed weapons so once I got Wuuthrad I just hung it up on the wall of my house. It looked cool but I always liked enchanting my own weapons with the things I wanted.

Even when I'd gotten the maximum level of enchanting, so I could cast spells from two schools without using any magicka, destruction spells were still almost entirely ineffective.
I ended up needing to wear heavy armor instead of light armor, just so I could survive an encounter.

Especially when you improve a good sword, the destruction spells just aren't practical. Not when you can do over 1000 damage with two swords at once. The piddly 90 for the strongest destruction seems so meek.

And the fact that they removed the Mysticism tree, which had usefull spells like soul trap and (I think) teleportation.
The option to make your own spells was removed, too.
Top that all off with the fact that you can't enchant things to make your spells more powerful, and you have a sad little mage being mauled by anything tougher than your average mudcrab.
