I wish they had used a design more like that in the series. The CGI series made his face look too long.

A very good redesign, makes him look more like Christopher Lee in the movies, kinda in the middle of the movie and the series. I did like Dooku's design in the Clone wars though and it seemed to suit him very well.

they ever explain why count dooku has such a deformed head in the latest clone wars animated series?
his forehead arches so far foreward its liek his nose is stotally deformed the way his nose jsut seems to grow stragith down from under his jutted forward forehead and his ears are set so far back they are practlcally behind his head for as far as they are set back on the sides of his head towards thevery back of his skull
whats up with that wacked out style ofanimation?

Very nice. When looking at the original design (left) it's clear they took influence from his design on the hand drawn style Clone Wars mini series, giving him a longer face and a pointier beard. On the 3-D model it doesn't work too well until later in the series when they got a bigger budget and better animation.

Yes, thank you, that long pointy beard always bothered me. Of course, everything about him in Clone Wars bothered me. For what little screen time he had in the films he was very commanding of the screen just by being dark and threatening but also charming and witty, as only Christopher Lee can do. At least in the 2-D micro series he still acted like himself, but then in Clone Wars all he did was stand around issuing orders and looking stoic and grumpy.
