The Battle of Hypori of the Clone Wars took place on the planet Hypori four standard months after the First Battle of Geonosis. Notable as the first public appearance of General Grievous, Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army, the battle was initially intended as a Republic raid on the Separatist foundries on Hypori, based on intelligence gathered by Jedi Master Daakman Barrek, who led the attack. However, the Separatist forces were waiting for the Republic assault, and it quickly turned into slaughter, with the Republic forces shot down.

True that, but he is depicted as being rather cowardly in the Animated (Not Cartoon) Series, but I find that show to be full of a lot of mistakes and Crap, but other than that #%^*, Grievous has a practically Flawless reputation of being one of the, if not the biggest, Badasses in Star Wars

I agree, in the original movies he had this very powerful sort of hue to him... He never seemed afraid to do his own dirty work. The animated series definitely gave him a very different personality
