Jill Valentine couldn't help but feel that something was following her as she journeyed through the sewer while trying to avoid the zombie swarms above ground, but every time she looked behind her, there was nothing. She continued on, clutching her pistol tightly, just in case. Just as she entered a junction, she heard a loud hissing, and turned just in time to see the giant snake rearing up behind her. The snake lashed out rapidly, overwhelming Jill's reflexes and biting the arm she had raised in defense.

Jill winced at the pain of the two fangs digging deep into her forearm, but soon felt an even more excruciating burning sensation flood throughout her entire body. She tried to raise her gun to shoot the snake before it could strike again, but her fingers loosened involuntarily, and the gun clattered off to the side, landing precariously atop an open grate.

The pain began to subside after a few moments, but Jill found her entire body becoming numb. Unable to stand, she fell to the floor. The snake slithered around to her feet, and opened its mouth, unhinging its jaw to create an even wider opening. Jill could barely feel it as the snake swallowed her feet, its internal muscles slowly drawing her in deeper.

Jill tried to reach out toward her gun, but the venom was making it nearly impossible to move. Still, she was making very slow progress. With luck, she would be able to grab it and shoot the snake before it swallowed her entirely. Unfortunately, just as she thought she was within reach, the snake moved its tail around towards the gun. The slightest of taps would send it plummeting into the pit...
