It's hard to imagine the soles of her feet maintaining their position against the pole if she is already dead.Β So I think that she is still struggling, thoughΒ her neck position casts some doubt there.

what about taking people to a carnival and putting them in the side show "dunk *insert name*" where people pay to throw balls at a target and if they hit it the person gets dunked in a tank of water... except hang them instead of dunking.

i like it but maybe blur the bottom of the pole? it's weird how it stays sharp all the way down, even though it's surroundings are blurred.
