I'm planning on coloring this picture with my traditional twistables and pens, but for now, I vectorized it using Photoshop!I've never done a vectorized photo, so don't be too harsh! This took me hours to complete.
The shade of their faces contrasting with Christine's chest and hands kind of bothers me... but oh well.

Babe, you know to vectorise! And in PS! I'm proud of ya also because I don't know to do it... Well it's not like I didn't try... The pic looks awesome! I'd change only two things: their eyes to make them fit more the vector style and the bacground from white to sthg darker, maybe some brown tonality. Yet the pic is really good! Brava!

i had to add the eyes in like that cause i was on a time shortage and couldn't draw out the eyes in time. ow well.

you always impress me and this one was no different! it was good to have you in class again. hopefully we'll be able to set up some more photoshop classes next year, until then I hope you get a copy of the program and can start blowing our minds with your digital art too

that's fine... i didn't know what it was yesterday either!
basically (in my words) in photoshop there's a very tricky pen tool you can use that creates curvy lines when you drag it from one place to another. once you connect all these lines and create a shape, you color it in. you do this repeatedly on so many layers until you have the completed picture. it's like a jigsaw puzzle, in a way.
I could've done more with this... shading, etc... but the time wouldn't allow. still, it's pretty cool.
another thing with vectorizing a picture is that it can be resized indefinately. so... if i were to make a poster of this, it'd have really nice quality. except i didn't vector the eyes and features (i just drew them) so they would appear blurry.
