Yes! Finally someone says it! Of course... THERE is where the actual outer cartilage portion comes in handy, isn't it? Not only the downward direction but also isn't THAT where you get that strange feeling that tells you that you're GOING to sneeze. Do you suppose he has any warning at all? Now THAT would be awkward...

oh, thank you. Actually, it was my dad (who is a certified doctor in allergy) who began to inform me of these things. I mentioned something about not being able to smell without a nose and he looked very appalled. Ever since then it has been my quest to get things straight, i suppose.
