A request made by:Ah, this was a fun one to work on... my cousins, Lucia especially, enjoyed watching me put the details in Christine's dress... i left a picture of Christine behind with face beaming as if posing for a picture... Lucia was overjoyed. ^_^
Anyway, there's a segment of Leroux's novel where it mentions Erik and Christine driving by poor, confused Raoul in a carriage... it is described in more detail in Susan Kay's novel...

Oh, MAN, do I love your coloring here!!! It's so *inhales enthusiastically* invigorating! The golds and reds and blacks of the carriage, somehow Erik matches it!

Ah no no I got it I can see them, phew! Well I looked at the picture again and realized I loved Eriks face in this one, you can feel the tension, the urgency, so good, must read that part again...

precicely why it should be treated as a phanfic (it is one, after all...) I would never consider it canon next to Leroux, although it does add some itty bitty cool bits to Erik's character. Great quotes and cool scenes, but still. Not my favorite.

This may sound kinda weird/random, but Erik's feet look really big compared to Christine's. Of course, he's a guy, and she's a girl... Whatever, this is still uber cute.

Actually-- you're right, and it's weird, because sometimes I draw girls' feet real big, but only when they're wearing boots, tennis shoes or the like. When the girls have bare feet or slippers, they're tiny.
Maybe I should post a sketch I did once of Erik and Christine in bathing suits to illustrate what my characters would look like half-naked and barefoot!

When I was redesigning the character of Erik to fit the book's description I decided to give him more pointy features. Everything a bit less round and cuddly and a bit more edgy. hence, the pointy hair, cape, feet, fingers...
