I love Yeston & Kopit's Phantom!!! It's sooo adorable and lovely and deep all at the same time. There's a wonderful TV mini series with Charles Dance and Teri Polo in it, which I'm sure you've all heard of, but there's also a beautiful musical with gorgeous songs that are currently stuck in my head and a joy to sing. If you haven't already, you must check this version of the timeless story out!
This is the scene where Erik takes Christine on a little Picnic in his very own fake forest beneath the Opera House.

So today at my school we had a firedrill, and where we had to go to stand was a wooded area right next to the lower school playground, and I was just thinking the whole time "Lovely day and weather for a picnic" and then I realized: I reminded myself a lot of this scene. Now I just need a cute Erik to accompany me.

awwww I love the puffy Charles Dance. There is a musical based on the miniserie, with Richard White as Phantom, is really nice, specially this scene, in which Erik poetry of William Blake to Christine, because for him Blake can explain his feelings :3

listening to vid in background, seen allready, just wanted to hear again before posting this... Aww it makes Erik look so sweet. You forget he is a bit of a murderer and kidnapper. (ps: i like any version of the phantom-that ive heard of...) Anyways, I cried when i saw this. Christine is such a witch...no offense to Christine fans.
I'd probably faint too. Love your art. Short story: I was outside, singing a verse from the phantom of the opera actual song Phantom of the Opera, when i looked up and saw a cloud that looked exactly like Erik's full face mask. Did it float away? No. It dissolved. Like died. I cried.

I thought this version was adorable! I'm usually a bigger fan of the darker side to Erik and the complexity of his relationship with Christine, but I must admit it IS nice to see them being cute instead of moaning as they usually do.

Okay, this is definitely my fav version of the Phantom... The end broke my heart, but in a way it was kinder than the original... But this scene made me crack up! Them being on a picnic is so absurd, but so cute at the same time.
