I love Yeston & Kopit's Phantom!!! It's sooo adorable and lovely and deep all at the same time. There's a wonderful TV mini series with Charles Dance and Teri Polo in it, which I'm sure you've all heard of, but there's also a beautiful musical with gorgeous songs that are currently stuck in my head and a joy to sing. If you haven't already, you must check this version of the timeless story out!
This is the scene where Erik takes Christine on a little Picnic in his very own fake forest beneath the Opera House.

*gasp* Charles Dance! That was probably my favorite movie adaptation. Dance!Erik was really cute. And the Christine was actually BLONDE.

Ohmigosh this miniseries is so adorable i don't know wear to start! And the way you draw Derik is just so cute...Seriously. I love the way you've captured the mood - and although the stuffed animals initially disconcerted me in the miniseries, I adore the little birds on strings and the deer!

Your best bet is probably to buy it on ebay or rent it off of Netflix... they usually don't carry it at regular rental stores.

yes, i really agree with you! all phantoms are really different.
"gerik" was at the first time my fav-phantom, too, but now i think, he's too sexy for this really ugly charakter.

Gerik = Gerard+Erik
Yerik = Yeston+Erik (It's better than "Kerik" or "Cherik"!)
Lerik = Leroux+Erik

yeston, is one of the creators behind the charles dance version. I refer to the charles dance version as the "yeston & kopit version"... I believe yeston's the writer and kopit the composer for the musical version, but I may be mistaken.
