The Asian Elephant is without question my favorite animal. It's not the biggest or most imposing of elephant species, but it is to my taste the most elegant, with an almost mythical grace. And it hails from what I consider it the most interesting and beautiful eco-regions in the world.Done in 2018.

This, and the Asian Elephant in my line up of the three species, was inspired by the individual they call the Bogeshwara male, also referred to as Mr Kabini, of the Kabini backwaters in southern India. In case you don't know him and would like to check him out!
