SPEEDPAINT: youtu.be/AdKMPXRNgSAEven in the darkest of times, the light will always shine again...
I had this idea of Alex seeking comfort from her loyal friend Tin-Can when the pressure from home and school became just a bit too much for her to bare alone. I think it would be a rare sight to see Alex showing her vulnerable side but that's why I wanted to explore the idea, since what we know of her family issues could potentially lead to something like this. This kind of scenario could take place before Alex became friends with the other Soul Riders. Luckily she has her best friend by her side
I'm quite happy with how this turned out!
Also first time drawing these two and I'm happy I got this done because they're one of my all time favorite characters from Starshine Legacy / Star Stable Online 
Though I did struggle with Alex's shoes because I couldn't decide wether to follow the original concept art or add my own spin to it, so it became kind of neither of them

The thing that caught my attention were the sunbeams. I'm a sucker for that sparkle and shine.
No wirries about the does, btw. They look perfect UVU Alex's expression actually, almost, made me cry. You nailed that.
Tin Can's eyes are also a point of attention.
Overall, this is another piece that I and I guarantee a lot of others will love endlessly.

I absolutely love this! It made such a strong impact on me to see one of my favorite heroes from childhood break down, yet you know its going to be okay
