The setting almost turned 18 in Breath of the Wild.
I played quite a few Zeldas in my childhood.
Man I desire a real mature setting in the world of Zelda, similar as to in " The Witcher III " .

It seems to be because the real and complete Gerudo-form of Ganondorf has been sealed below the castle.
Ironic isn't it?
The Hylians aund Shika thought themself to be sooo clever.
Invented the Guardians -> taken over.
Invented the Divine Beasts -> taken over.
Sealed Ganondorfs Main-body -> he unleashed a Demonic Pigform anyway.
What is the moral of the story? Lets just do nothing. Only the Mastersword-Hero and the Princess are able to do anything.
Normal people should just cover like the powerless worms that they are. ^_^

It has been. And unfortunately, Sheikah technology doesn't solve everything. The Sheikah tend to fail in history again and again and again. You'd think after all they've done in the past, Hyrule would disregard their opinions and aid. But that's not the case.
I had a small theory of my own. What if the new power Link obtains means he is the only one that can seal away Ganondorf's true form, hence he must give his own life and see it away as well so neither can reincarnate for the greater good of Hyrule?

And I think a solution like this is not too unrealistic anyway.

There is no pure evil.
People become evil because they experienced misery and despair.
And very often those people become the very thing they hate but at this point it is too late to reason with them.
Maybe you can in another life but not when surrounded by enemys of course.
This story takes a very brave approach to this scenario.
Cause technically Zelda and Ganondorf are still enemys but they come together anyway to stop the never ending cicle.
