Great artwork.
I think what you don't remember or never had, you will not miss in the first place.
But its obvious he had a lone start. And what he finds out with in the Recallings is not that nice either.
May the Triforce be with him.
Alltough it seems awfully absent in this Title. ( °.°)

I've actually been thinking maybe Zelda has the full triforce? I haven't seen link or ganon with one, but i have {SPOILER} seen Zelda with her right hand glowing in the last memory cutscene

This really is quite beautiful, I never really thought about just how alone he is at the beginning.

It really hits the nail on the head on how drastically different BOTW is from the other Zeldas. The other Links had relationships before they took up their roles as heroes. With BOTW Link however, he wakes up all alone, and he doesn't have any memories of who he was before he was called to save Hyrule. The new characters he meets won't be old friends, but new companions since he was in stasis. I'm hoping this Link is a more emotionally driven character due to this.
Bottom line, I'm really excited for Breath of the Wild. Great piece man!

Isn't it worse that he used to have friends before he went to stasis but they are all dead except for Zelda, so even if he does remember, all the people he used to know are dead. So not only is he alone with no memory, anyone that would warrant a "We need you" are long dead. Except Zelda...somehow.

I love this one! Instead of having friends who he wants to save, he gotta recollect his memories to remember those he loved and save the land. Seperated from everyone, only being guided by an old man, he has to survive all on his own in the wilds of Hyrule.
I think we got the most badass yet emotional Link over here, and I love it!

This is beautiful and shocking. Awesome job replicating the art style and atmosphere of each Zelda title, right down to the text boxes themselves. Plus, all of the Heroes except for the one in Breath of The Wild have loved ones who need them and support them. Seeing Breath of The Wild Link by himself is very saddening, and the way you present it makes me wonder how he will develop as a young man in the new game. Keep up the good work!

He will. Nintendo deliberately excluded villages and villagers from the E3 demo of Breath of the Wild in order to keep from spoiling the story.

Also, don't forget that the amount of terrain presented in the E3 demo of Breath of the Wild was only approximately 2% to 5%, so there will definitely be multiple opportunities to talk with villagers in the final version of the game. Nintendo won't disappoint us.
