This looks really cool. It reminds me of a close up view of DNA, but much better in terms of color and design. Why did you name it 'The Genesis'? Is it the beginning of something...?

Gothguy720 [2006-10-11 21:00:17 +0000 UTC]

How do u get it to look like that! i downloaded Asphysiciecje, and all i get is fuzzy things floating around

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaStafiZ In reply to Gothguy720 [2006-10-12 09:45:53 +0000 UTC]

yes indeed thatΒ΄s right, then take the layer with the floating pieces and set some effects with adobe
then duplicate the layer and continiue the effects... one more and one more and one more until you get the effects tΒ΄hat you need.

So if the background with the apophysis layers and lighting finished fade in a 3d render (you can find here in DA some under "resources")

after that comes the colorising and thatΒ΄s all mate

you must combine the programms and effects to take some results, my wallpaper for exampel was something with 120 layers

DarthGummiBear [2006-10-11 19:37:32 +0000 UTC]

Nice work. What I'd like to know is how to take the fractal from apophysis and get the nice 3d render.

Is it complicated?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DaStafiZ In reply to DarthGummiBear [2006-10-12 09:52:17 +0000 UTC]

the fractlals are white on black background after rendering, so you can fadein adobe and set the layer in an affect that let the background desapear.
some fragments of this comes with copy and paste as a new layer and take some effects like blur od wind so youΒ΄ll get the fog effects ( about 30 layers needed)
After that comes the 3d render and will be modifited to past in the hall concept, here some parts duplicate there some parts erase then some colorising and finished the walli

i hope was a little helpful

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DarthGummiBear In reply to DaStafiZ [2006-10-12 10:00:06 +0000 UTC]

that helped a bit to clear things up.

Still wish i could find a decent tutorial on blood. all the ones i've found so far produce somewhat cheezy looking effects. I want something more like what i found in your "redemption" learnfile. I understand how the layering works for proper darkening and such, but ultimately for good blood i don't know quite where to start.
