's original artwork can be found here.This is a coloring commission for but I'm glad he asked for it cause I got to do all sorts of little experiments on this piece, shading lines and the like mostly.
Funny story regarding this pic: I was working on it the other day as I babysat my cousin's young daughter, Michelle. She asked what kind of fish that was. I couldn't remember the correct name, so I said it was a Shoxxe fish. Michelle said she hoped the cat girl didn't eat the Shoxxe fish and I thought that was the end of it.
However, on the way home her father and Michelle went to the pet store to find a new fish for their tank. It turns out that Shoxxe Fish are really, REALLY expensive...

No, she had other things on her mind. And while she *can* snack on anything with fins, she does prefer the same fish we humans normally eat (mainly, tuna! XD)
