The golden wolf is his mother, Helbreau. She's Austree's sister, which makes her Saurugol and Aphrodi's aunt, as well as Arthur's great aunt.
And the handsome grey wolf by her side is Cobalt, his deadbeat father. Being Stallion's brother, he's also Daithi and Estella's uncle.

Honestly when I designed Nik it was off of Saurugol and Stallion's designs, so he doesn't resemble his parents all that much as he's definitely more tawny than gold or grey. Still, he's got some pretty parents and he turned out a'ight c: His mother's design was heavily based off of her sister, Austree's with that pretty gold their line is known for.
