She wasn't just talk either, everyone who taught her found it remarkable how studious she could be when she tried. By the time she was a young adult she'd managed to outstrip her peers and even her seniors in knowledge by synthesizing everything they'd taught her. Then the time came for her to put her skills to the test; Aria had been gored. A deer had thought it wise to skewer her with its antlers and the she-wolf was fading fast. There she met a wolf she came to admire, one with as sharp a wit as her's. She decided to stay and eventually managed to win the Valerian female's affections. Their wedding helped steel the bonds between the two packs, and during her work as a Porter she found a passage through the mountains which cut travel back and forth down to only a couple days. Thanks to this she visits home often, much to the delight of her parents.

Legendarily dense, his generally gentle and sweet demeanor mixed with light-hearted pranks endeared him to others easily; at the same time he hurt those close to him without realizing it. He was no womanizer, but it was because of this that his innocent actions caused misunderstandings. When he met a she-wolf who decided she hated his guts he, for once in his life, tried to actively win her over. Talking at length about his history, at first she was shocked. He gave her space to process it all, and the next day she decided they needed each other, that they were better when they were together. Rutnik submited to her determination, over time coming to terms with both himself and his love for her. In the end she was right; Fellfang flourished, due in no small part to their contributions as a team. Their relationship wasn't built on passion, but rather stability; they were friends first, and they never forgot to respect each other.
Stella: Born in the shadow of Fellfang's greats, she pushed herself to exceed her parents legacies. The sole prize of her litter, she was raised mainly by Aria, her elder half-sister, due to the nature of her parents' work. Like her father she decided to become a Vanguard initially, however as time passed she found her skills were more suited for the role of Witch-Doctor. Aspiring to be the pack's finest Aldinwitch, she pestered every wolf who had even the littlest knowledge of herbs or healing to teach her everything they knew. She wasn't just talk either, everyone who taught her found it remarkable how studious she could be when she tried. By the time she was a young adult she'd managed to outstrip her peers and even her seniors in knowledge by synthesizing everything they'd taught her. Then the time came for her to put her skills to the test; Aria had been gored. A deer had thought it wise to skewer her with its antlers and the she-wolf was fading fast. Stella did everything she could to revive her, but nothing worked; none of the skills she'd gained could save her sister's life. She fell into an incurable spiral of doubt and self-hate, culminating in her blinding herself so she didn't have to see Aria's ghost anymore. Hiding away deep within the Grenmyrk Forest, she lived in relative solitude for the remainder of her life. Rutnik and Calida, though heartbroken, understood.
Nanayi
  Rutnik wasn't looking for love when he met Nanayi; on the contrary he dropped in on her rather rudely. She was a welcome distraction from the stresses of his position, though she had her own troubles too. He helped her find a place in the skuld as a Witch-Doctor, remaining a source of stability for the she-wolf. When he disappeared to rescue Keme, Nanayi was left at a loss. His return was followed by a lecture from her, talking his ears off about how worried she may or may not have been. Rutnik was left to earn her trust again, but instead he wormed his way into her heart. When she finally got up the courage to tell him he didn't know what to think and brushed it off as one of her jokes. Her reaction was worse than expected, and she tried to run away from Fellfang. He went after her, catching her in a storm and confessing he felt the same, he just didn't realize it. She rightfully told him off, but returned to the pack with him. It wasn't long before they were married, though she initially insisted they wait before having pups just in case she changed her mind. Once she had her first child however, she wanted more much to both of their surprise. After the second they decided that was enough; by that point their first pup had become a juvenile, and they were not about to go through that more times then necessary.

First Litter
Cedar: (designed by shitkawa ) As Nanayi and Rutnik's first dive into parenthood together, she was spoiled like mad. The center of attention, it wasn't surprising that she became inconsolably jealous when her younger siblings were born. At first she bullied them, but as they grew it became evident she was outmatched. Taking her frustrations out on whatever wouldn't fight back, Rutnik voiced his concerns to Nanayi who dismissed her actions as growing pains. When the opportunity came up to visit the faraway pack of Heylguard for diplomatic reasons, her father volunteered her in the hopes that they might teach her something. Her arrival was a disaster; she managed to embarress the entire envoy with her rude behavior, resulting in her being confined to a den for the rest of the day. It was there that she marveled at the beauty of their land, the tranquility of the pack that teetered on a mountain's edge. They were fascinated by her, and she by them. Electing to stay in the western pack, she learned their ways and was able to mature under the combined peace of Heyl's tranquility and discipline of Dawnguard teachings.
Second Litter
Ishtar: Mama's girl turned mama bear as she grew; usually involved in keeping her brothers away from their elder sister, Cedar, until they were big enough to defend themselves. She was never the direct target of the she-wolf's teasing, simply because she never let it bother her. When her brothers were pushed too far though she wouldn't hesitate to sass Cedar into submission. Her tongue was always sharp; it was her weapon. As a member of the Vanguard this served her well; she was sent to Vale along with several others to form an alliance. After the fall of the Queen they'd remained neutral neighbors, however the Jarl saw it necessary to ensure the northern pack didn't align itself with Vektren again. There she met a wolf she came to admire, one with as sharp a wit as her's. She decided to stay and eventually managed to win the Valerian female's affections. Their wedding helped steel the bonds between the two packs, and during her work as a Porter she found a passage through the mountains which cut travel back and forth down to only a couple days. Thanks to this she visits home often, much to the delight of her parents.
Nabu: His weak body left him incapable of much as a pup. Nanayi had to dedicate extra time taking care of him alone, leaving little for her litter-mates, and even less for her eldest. It wasn't until he was a juvenile that he could even walk without pain; he had to undergo special training with Rutnik to build the muscles he'd never developed. The stress of looking after Nabu formed a rift between Rutnik and Nanayi; the former pushed him to grow strong while the latter was too worried about his health. In the end Nabu blamed their falling out on himself, deciding to become independent so they didn't have to worry, so they could be together again. He became fool-hardy, obsessed with proving himself so his parents wouldn't hate each other. Associating taking on danger with being able to care for himself, he was ecstatic when he was given permission to join their allies, Aryn, in a ritual bison hunt. Finally he was trusted to travel, to work for the sake of the skuld on his own. It was with this mindset that he ran after the bison, and his rash action resulted in the young wolf being stampeded to death.
Enki: A prankster by nature, for some reason he was quite popular with the she-wolves both inside and outside the skuld, much to his male peers' chagrin. Legendarily dense, his generally gentle and sweet demeanor mixed with light-hearted pranks endeared him to others easily; at the same time he hurt those close to him without realizing it. He was no womanizer, but it was because of this that his innocent actions caused misunderstandings. When he met a she-wolf who decided she hated his guts he, for once in his life, tried to actively win her over. He didn't do so for romantic reasons at first; she was a gloomy wolf who was a source of discomfort within the skuld, a new member with an attitude problem. So he acted kindly towards her, tried to help her feel at home and opened her up to their packmates. Eventually she told him why she hated him in an attempt to scare Enki off. All he could do was apologize to her, reassure her that wasn't what he wanted. Before she could give her response they were killed; the cliff beneath them gave way, plunging the wolves into the sea.
