Description Meh. For miss *sya in many ways, but also for me for a few upcoming works.

This is probably going to be my least script newbie friendly script just because of the sheer amount of variables and changes made in this script makes it impossible to have an input box for each and every one. Its the longest script I've written (though I know I could shorten it down in many areas, yes), so look at (and understand) the code and make changes as necessary.

This script isn't meant to be a push run and the goto render script (if any are, that is), and it will take a fair amount of post run work to be able to get a nice fractal out of this. AND, on top of that, if you don't do any or very little work past pushing run, it WILL show in anything you submit with this. And when I see it I will say "Hey, what the hell?" and proceed die a little more on the inside.

Make the script work for you,. Don't work for the script.

There are other scripts in my gallery if you are in need of me doing more work for you.

(No. It doesn't matter that I messed up and didnt use spherical.)

If you are like many people and have your browser settings to have that type of file (or other text only files) open directly without a download prompt, just right click on the download arrow and use Save Target As and save it into your apo scripts directory.

By default thats in:

c:\program files\apophysis 2.0\scripts

Many thanks for making such a wonderful script freely available.

Hey, nice script. There were some things I wanted to try to do with Apo and I think this one may do the trick. Thanks.

If you explain it to me, or send me a .flame I can recreate it with a script. Yesh?

Well what i would like is a decent script that creates layered and altered Sierpinski images...there is a script in Apo that creates one, but try as i might (and i have been at this lots of times ) i cannot get a decent recursive image of a Sierpinski, which is strange as the whole flame thing is based on IFS structures which a Sierpinski is a derivative of if i am not mistaken...there are variations of Sierpinski structures which use squares, circles, pentagons and other shapes, yet i havent had much luck as yet...i am currently rendering an image that produces the kinda effect i am after using, but it was more luck than judgement, and it isnt a Sirpinski, it just has that type of feel to it, but i would like to be able the "build" up many Sierpinski's within one image as a structure, then use various other methods on them, such as cloning and repeating structures to build up more complex patterns....

Does any of this make it any easier...i wouldnt know where to start with scripting, and yours have been so much fun and i use them lots (not always with good results i might add, but then thats just me getting carried away, not your scripts )

Even a pointer in the right direction would be tops...maybe its not possible with Apo...I may be on a never ending journey into infinity

Phil

Send me a flame of a few effects you'd like to see duplicated. I dont think serpinksi's are too hard to recreate, just...different. I'll give it a try later.

..Thanx matey...i will sort it out tomorrow, i need to get to bed right now...up in 6 hours for work...but soon as i get back tomorrow, i will get some flames together...check out my last post [link] ...that would be sweet with Sierpinski as the base image

You're so silly sya. Everyone knows I'm not superman.
OR AM I? Dum dum dummm

I was gonna ask also, do you like how the script works in terms of not deleting or overwriting anything? I was considering using 3 transforms from random batches but that would sorta mess up the circular shape by adding in variations here and there where applicable, so I just left it with a clear and then add 3 transforms method. Itd make more variations available just from running it, but not always would get the desired circular effect.
