Aw, I'm sure you get some. You'd be surprised how much weather's around once you dedicate some of your time to photographing it. I always seem to be able to use it as an excuse not to do something else.

They are VERY rare! I remember seeing lightnings ONCE back home (iceland) and that was probably about 15 years ago. But I guess they get them more here (denmark) since I've seen/heard them more than once and I've only been here for a year and a half.
...but I could photograph some weather, just not lightnings.
Always good to find more excuses not to do something that you should be doing ...like I'm doing right now

Yeah I guess it depends on the place
macro photography is pretty useful for that too! You can always find some little creature to photograph ...well in the summer at least
