"My my, didn't expect you to seek an audience with me at this time of night? In my lab no less. Certainly an unexpected visit, even from you." the royal elf says as you step past the guards into her private laboratory. You see her standing bent over her desk examining something intensely. Taking a few steps to approach the nightgown-clad queen you look around you, marveling all of the magical gadgets and instruments strewn around the room from floor to ceiling.

"Isn't alchemy more of a human thing than your kind?" You ask as your gaze turns back to her. Putting down the thing she was examining, that turns out to be an old tome, she turns to face you with her green eyes and very generous neckline.

"Hmh, well you would be quite wrong my dear. Just like they have learned of magic, why should we not learn of alchemy?" Elise says with an inquisitive tone, challenging your point of view. Flipping her hair behind her shoulders, she walks over to a few flasks of some glowing liquids, picking one of them up. "The two are just part of the same system, very connected, just like anything in nature" she says gently wiggling one of the magical bottles.

"I suppose so. Still just a bit unexpected that you would be doing it yourself, instead of having your mages do it for you." you reply agreeably.

"Is it? Even though I am the Queen, I'm still a sorceress too and magic has been a deep interest of mine ever since I was a little girl. It's always been something I want to know and understand more. So even if I may not be the best, and have more knowledgeable people at my disposal, I think learning by yourself is the best way to truly learn and understand magic. Including alchemy." she says as she walks back to the desk in front of you.

With a small hop, she sits on the edge of the table, leans back and crosses her legs. "So what about your kind then? Last I heard you were with the Mayrees, chasing dragons and seeking adventure! I'm sure you have plenty of stories to tell me." Elise says with a very curious tone as she expects to hear some excerpts of wild adventures in far away lands.

Elise has a nightly surprise visit by an old acquaintance in her alchemy lab. Guess her little experimenting before bed turned out to be a catching up session long into the night While Elise isn't the most profilic alchemist, in fact, Dawn and Aeryn are both more experienced than her, she still enjoys studying and experimenting with it. Even if sometimes, Dawn is there to help her. In this one, "you" play the role of an old friend from her youth that on rare occasions comes back to visit her to share stories and catch up. Haven't yet decided if I will make them into an actual character down the line but I do want to expand the world even with characters that may not end up on the screen As always, let me know what you think, and I hope you enjoy
